Mid-month Middle Earth 7

I have finally moved onto the second color! Unfortunately, since I was picking the color based on the symbol on the pattern sheet I am currently adding black to the very dark blue already on the pattern. Because of that it may be harder to tell where the new color is compared to the old color used. This will be good once the pattern is completed and the colors blend well, less good now that I am working on it and trying to keep track of where the colors are going. It’s a good thing I’m coloring in the different parts of the pattern on the chart I have, as that is likely the only way I am going to keep track of it.

I have been neck deep in a different project which means I haven’t gotten more than a row or two of new color added, but the new color should be more noticeable in the next update. Once I move out of the border I’ll start filling in larger sections on the map.

As far as audiobooks go I think I will need to move on from the G.K. Chesterton collection that I have been listening to for a different audiobook. After The Ball and the Cross all of the other parts of the collection I am listening to are essays, and I can admit that I cannot focus on the project and on the essays with the attention either deserves. I’ll probably keep listening to the essays on the side while I do chores like washing dishes or sweeping, as those generally does not require pattern recognition, counting or other forms of general math. Thankfully I have a good two dozen books sitting in my audible library waiting to be listened to, so I will have a different book to update you on next month.
