crafting Mid month Middle Earth

Mid-Month Middle Earth 13

This can only barely be considered mid-month, largely because half a month has already passed. These last few weeks have left me feeling like I am sprinting from one thing to the next, between work, crafts, shows, and other previous engagements I kind of want to just lie on the floor for the day and nap. It will be a while still before I have the time for it, but I hope I can relax soon. I truly think this has been one of my busiest months!

We are also getting busier in the pattern, even if so far it’s mostly a large variety of brown. I think my color sorting process is working well so far, but I am starting to stare at the rest of my project and adding a couple of years onto it. I’m sure I’ll be happy with it at the end, but I will say I expect to be in a very different place in my life once it is completed. My biggest concern right now is making sure I make time to work on it. With the holidays coming up I’m going to have a host of other things to juggle along with my crafting, so I may not get a chance to work on it much as we roll through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

For an audio book I’ve started “Murder at Melrose Court”, a murder mystery by Karen Menuhin. I’m not too far into it yet but I’m interested in seeing where its going. It’s started with a few interesting mysteries, consisting of a dead man showing up with no visible cause of death, a necklace, and a potential affair. The main character is a retired former soldier from who is battling his own issues – specifically money troubles and his annoyance with his relatives over the holiday. This may prove to be even more timely since we’re coming up on the holiday season, though I certainly hope mine is much less dangerous.

Here is wishing you all a good start to the holiday season!
