This is a quick post since we’re right before the last big holiday of the year and I’m sure everyone is busy getting ready for new years eve celebrations. I’ve finished the large Haro! After getting ¾ of the way done with it I though “maybe I should have tried for a different color”, but ultimately I’m glad I went with the bright green. After a little thrift shopping I did find a pillow I was willing to sacrifice for the cause, and it only cost me a buck fifty.
The pattern maker wasn’t kidding when they said this Haro uses a lot of filler, I put nearly the whole pillow’s worth of filler into the large Haro to get it the look the way I wanted. I’ll probably put the rest of the pillow into more aregurumi, but that leaves me with the pillow case. It’s a nice fabric so I’m going to try and find a way to use it in some projector other. Let’s hope I find a good use for it in the new year.
I’m wishing you all a Happy New Year, may it be filled with good cheer and fun crafts!
